This web-based version of Access-A-File allows you to manage student data .in a more secure environment: Your data can now be stored on a computer within your own office and still be shared with those to whom you give permission.
NEW Changeable Labels- Access-A-File/Web gives you the opportunity to change the labels and content of all objects within the program. This allows you to track any information you want. Now you can completely customize Access-A-File/Web to meet the needs of your office.
Controlled Data Access - You control which of your office staff has access to what data. You can allow clerical staff to access names, addresses, phone numbers etc., but keep your case notes confidential. With the new Access-A-File/Web you also have the NEW ability staff to view data but not edit or give them the ability to view and edit. You have the additional option of allowing clerical staff to enter :Contact Notes without being able to see confidential “Case Notes
Automatically Generated Reports - Produce Statistical/graphical Reports on how many students you serve, kinds of disabilities, number of contact hours, etc. It’s as easy as a click of a button with Access-A-File/Web.
NEW Report Designer Option- This powerful add-on gives you the flexibility to design your own reports from scratch. You decide what filters to use and/or what fields you want printed and in what order. Now you have the ability to design a report that meets the unique needs of your office.
NEW Completely Editable Accommodation Request Forms- Access-A-File/Web now offers a completely editable Accommodation Form. You are in complete control . You decide the format and content of the form. Additionally, your institution can now have the NEW add-on option of printing more than one version of this form.
Group E-mailing- Send a single e-mail to all your active students, student with LD, or any other group you choose. You can even e-mail your newsletter to all your consumers. When confidentiality is an issue, Access-A-File/Web allows you the option of blind copying to the group.
Data Export Feature- Access-A-File/Web will give you the ability to export all data fields into your word processor or spread sheet application. This will enable you to print customized mailing labels or reports, telephone/birthday lists, perform mail merges, etc.
License To Use On Multiple Workstations- Once you purchase Access-A-File/Web, you are licensed to install one database but you may connect as many workstations to it as you need.
NEW Built-in Archive Feature- Access-A-File/Web gives you the ability to archive inactive student files and retrieve them when/if they become active again. Now, you don't have to by a separate program, this is a built-in feature of Access-A-File/Web .
NEW Student Status History Tracker- Now you can track and report a student's status by semester.
NO SPECIAL EQUIPMENT IS REQUIRED: Access-A-File Web will run on any computer that supports Microsoft Windows Operating Systems; Windows 2000 Professional, Windows XP Professional or higher operating systems. The software is only installed on one computer and is shared with any common browser (Internet Explorer is recommended.)
